Where other people see problems, Laura Lehman Dray, Esq. sees opportunities. For more than 20 years, she has embraced the challenge of creating and driving solutions for a wide range of clients, from Fortune 50 companies to start-up enterprises. At Lubell Rosen, she represents clients in dispute resolution, corporate, compliance, and risk assessment matters, primarily in the health care arena.

Prior to Lubell Rosen, Ms. Dray was Counsel at a premier international law firm with more than 1,000 attorneys. During her 14 years at the firm, first in New York City and then in Miami, she was a member of the complex commercial litigation group. Ms. Dray drew upon her background in the arts, as well as her prior career in politics and the non-profit sector, to develop a diverse legal practice at the firm. She was tapped to work closely with clients such as American Airlines, Merrill Lynch, Avon Products, United HealthCare, GE Capital, and MTV Networks, among others. In addition, Ms. Dray counseled corporations in risk assessment, market conduct and compliance matters. In 2009, Ms. Dray left the firm to become General Counsel at a dynamic company in the luxury beauty product industry. For more than five years, she worked closely with senior management to identify and oversee legal issues at the company. She also retained and supervised outside counsel for intellectual property and other specialized work.

Ms. Dray received her BA from Brown University. She graduated from Brooklyn Law School summa cum laude. She was awarded the Matheson Memorial Prize for the highest legal capacity in the graduating class, along with numerous other honors and scholarships. She was Executive Articles Editor of the Brooklyn Journal of International Law, a member of the Moot Court Honor Society, and an International Business Law Fellow. Upon graduating, she clerked in the Federal District Court for the Southern District of NewYork for Hon. Theodore H. Katz. She has been recognized on numerous occasions for the pro bono services she has provided over the years in Florida and New York. Ms. Dray is admitted to the Florida Bar and the New York State Bar.
