Liz C. Messianu, Esq. has more than 17 years of experience in the areas of estates, trusts and guardianship matters. Liz leads an active practice group and is well regarded for her sensitive and thorough approach to each matter. Ms. Messianu’s areas of practice concentrate on guardianship, estate and trust administration; estate planning and wealth preservation's for individuals. Ms. Messianu handles all aspects of estate and trust matters, including probate and trust administration, representing beneficiaries in our COURTS, with a strong emphasis on litigation involving probate matters, estates, trusts, and contested guardianship's.

Ms. Messianu represents individuals in a variety of contexts, including as heirs, personal representatives (executors), trustees, beneficiaries of estates and trusts, incapacitated persons, their families or guardians, spouses and intestate heirs. She has successfully resolved will and trusts contests as a result of vague language, fraud, duress, contradictory instructions, lack of capacity and undue influence, among other factors.

Ms. Messianu also guides clients through the difficult and emotional process of commencing guardianships of both minors and incapacitated adults. When necessary, she litigates disputes regarding guardianship appointments. She assists clients with sophisticated estate planning needs that often include business succession and charitable giving. Mindful of FEDERAL and STATE tax laws, Liz executes estate plans that achieve each client’s unique goals and provides optimum financial benefits.
