Recovery Houses

A Recovery House (“RH”) is a facility where patients stay following a medical procedure. Most patients reside out of the area and need a safe and quiet place to stay to heal properly before they are healed and can travel home. A Recovery House does not provide medical services, nursing, or engage in any type of physical care of their guests. Recovery Houses only provide companionship, kindness, and a well maintained place of an abode. Some also provide transportation for their guests to and from the medical facility. Despite providing these well intended services for patients to peacefully recover, many Recovery Houses are named in lawsuits. Anyone in the Recovery House business should have a lawyer on staff.
