Meet Norman
Norman Segall, Esq. who has over 40 years of legal experience, is AV-Preeminent® rated by Martindale-Hubbell. He represents clients in cases involving complex commercial issues, real estate, banking, corporate, insurance and marital issues. Among others, he has represented banks and other financial institutions, mortgage companies, insurance companies, HMOs, land sales corporations, real estate brokers, attorneys, accountants and individuals dealing with those entities. He is experienced in class action, federal multi-district litigation, construction, Uniform Commercial Code, ad valorem taxation, estate and probate litigation, mortgage and other commercial and real estate litigation. He is knowledgeable in accounting and appraisal techniques.
Prior to joining Lubell Rosen, Segall has been a shareholder at several prestigious law firms in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale area. He was the financial managing partner of a 25-lawyer firm.
Education
Segall received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Management from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan; and his J.D. from University of Miami School of Law in Miami. He is a veteran, having served in Vietnam.
Admissions
Segall is a past director of the South Miami Kendall Bar Association. He has been an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association and hearing officer for the Miami-Dade County School Board. He appears in state and federal courts, and has tried numerous bench and jury trials in both.
He is a member of the Bars of the U.S. Supreme Court; the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Second and Eleventh Circuits; and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida. He has been admitted pro hac vice in the U.S. District Courts for the Northern District of California, the Eastern District of Louisiana and the District of Puerto Rico. He is a member of The Florida Bar and a life member of the Dade County Bar Association.
