Meet Vanessa

Vanessa Duffey is a Senior Associate at Lubell Rosen, where she focuses her practice on healthcare law, representing medical providers in complex reimbursement and insurance-related matters. Ms. Duffey brings a well-rounded and strategic perspective to her practice, shaped by extensive experience in both the public and private sectors.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Duffey represented insurance companies in Personal Injury Protection (PIP) litigation, developing a comprehensive understanding of carrier practices, policy interpretation, and claims handling from the defense perspective. This experience has provided Ms. Duffey with valuable insight when prosecuting claims on behalf of healthcare providers, positioning her clients for stronger outcomes in both litigation and pre-suit matters.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Duffey served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Florida and as an attorney with Legal Aid Service of Broward County, where she gained substantial courtroom experience and a strong commitment to advocacy and public service. These roles further strengthened her litigation skills and reinforced her results-driven approach to client representation.

Ms. Duffey earned her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from the University of Florida in 2004. She received her Juris Doctor from Florida International University College of Law in 2009 and has been a member of The Florida Bar since that time.
