Florida Civil Law Notary

One of our partners is certified as a Florida Civil Law Notary. Over 20 years ago, the Florida legislature created a class of Civil Law Notaries. In many countries (predominantly Latin countries) which follow civil law traditions and precedents, a notary is not just a witness to a signature on a document, but serves a a neutral to a transaction, both to see it properly documented but also to maintain a permanent record and to certify its accuracy. Ronald G. Neiwirth is one of the initial qualifiers as a Florida Civil Law Notary in Florida and has been a director of the National Association of Civil Law Notaries (“NACLN”) ever since.
