Stephanie M. Viel, Esq., focuses her practice on representing health care providers, provider groups, behavioral health systems, and other entities involved in the healthcare industry. Stephanie focuses on complex claims denials, healthcare reimbursement, and managed care litigation.
Stephanie began her legal career as an associate at a first-party property defense litigation firm where she gained knowledge and experience in civil litigation matters. Her practice emphasized in bad faith litigation, water damage claims, and windstorm coverage issues.
Stephanie obtained her Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University. During law school, Stephanie was an advocate for the Moot Court Honor Society and Nova Trial Association. Stephanie served as Managing Editor of ILSA Journal of International and Comparative Law for Volume 24. While in law school, she received the Rebecca Knox Fellowship for providing over 200 hours of pro bono in the Miami-Dade community. Stephanie also was awarded a Concentration in Health Law.
Stephanie is a member of the Young Lawyers Division of the Florida Bar, the Florida Bar Health Law Section and the American Health Lawyers Association.
Stephanie is admitted to the Florida Bar and the U.S. District Court of the Southern District of Florida.
